Mahatma Gandhi, affectionately known as the ‘Father of the Nation’ in India, is a figure of unparalleled importance in the annals of history. His life's work and principles continue to resonate globally, making him a revered symbol of peace, nonviolence, and social justice. Gandhi's simplicity in living and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life earned him the title of ‘Mahatma’ or ‘Great Soul.’ His life's journey and teachings continue to inspire people across borders and generations. To initiate the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti 2023 with the theme ‘Truth and Non-Violence’, GDC Sidhra presented a screening of the short films titled ‘Mahatma Gandhi: The Journey of a Peaceful Revolutionary| Bibliography’ and ‘Teachings of Mahatma Gandhi’ to introduce students to the life and legacy of the great Mahatma Gandhi.
