Awareness Lecture On The Importance Of Angdaan Mahotsav

In view of organizing Angdaan Mahotsav 2023, NSS Unit in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club of GDC Sidhra organized an awareness lecture on the importance of Angdaan Mahotsav wherein Prof. Harpreet Kour HOD Political Science and Dr. Mussarat Chowdhary HOD Economics deliberated on the significance and awareness of Angdaan respectively. Angdaan Mahotsav Campaign kicked started on 1st of July, 2023 in line with the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav to raise awareness on organ donation across the country. As part of the campaign for the same, 3rd August 2023 will be celebrated as Indian Organ Donation Day.
NSS Volunteers and Red Ribbon Club volunteers attended the lecture with great zeal and zest. The programme was successfully conducted under the able guidance of Worthy Principal of the college, Dr. Bharat Bhushan Anand. The Programme was organized by Dr. Satbir Kour Convenor Red Ribbon Club and Programme Officer NSS Unit Dr. Mehmood Ahmed.
