CELEBRATION OF TEACHERS DAY,2023 At GDC SIDHRA

Govt. Degree College Sidhra under the aegis of IQAC and Banner of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav organized a felicitation program to celebrate Teachers Day, 2023. The Guest of Honour for the program was Prof. (Dr.) Indira Rathore, Former Principal Higher Education Department, an eminent personality and educationist having contributed considerable years in the field of education. The welcome address for the program was delivered by Dr. Mussarat Chowdhary Assistant Professor, Department of Economics and Convener Cultural Committee. This was followed by a speech by worthy Principal of the college Dr. B.B. Anand wherein he shared his valuable thoughts with the faculty and students. Further, Dr. Indira had a vibrant interaction with the gathering and shared his experiences and words of wisdom. Thereafter students of different semesters of the college voiced their thoughts and opinions and expressed their gratitude towards their teachers. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr Indu Koul, Department of English. The program was organized under the patronship of Principal of the college Dr. B.B. Anand, with the active support and cooperation of Dr. Harpreet Kour and members of Cultural Committee of the college - Prof Shonima Malhotra, Dr Satbir Kour, Dr Anu Sharma, Prof Pooja Sharma and Prof Rudrika Khajuria.
