Documentary Screening Organised In View Of Observance Of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024

In line with Vigilance Awareness Week (28 th October- 3 rd Nov), observed annually during the week of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary, GDC Sidhra, under the aegis of IQAC, organized a documentary screening program on Preventive Vigilance Measures today, 30 th October 2024. The event, themed “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity,” aimed to raise awareness about the importance of vigilance in ensuring transparency and accountability. Vigilance Awareness Week is one of the Participative Vigilance initiatives of the Central Vigilance Commission in the fight against corruption. It is an awareness building and outreach measure which aims to bring together all the stakeholders. It is observed to create greater sensitivity about the need for ethics and transparency in governance and public administration. Every year Vigilance Awareness Week is observed in the week in which the birthday of Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel falls in. A number of students of various semesters along with faculty members participated in the program. The program was organised by Dr. Anshu Gupta, HOD, Environmental Sciences with the support of Dr. Anu Sharma, HOD Botany of the college.
