GDC Sidhra Organised A Rally On Day 5 Of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh” And “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign From GDC Sidhra To The Adjoining Areas.

In continuation to the series of activities organised under the aegis of Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav ’ and IQAC, NSS Unit of GDC Sidhra organised a rally on Day 5 of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh” and “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign from GDC Sidhra to the adjoining areas. Volunteers participated in the rally with full zeal and passion. Students participated in the rally holding national flag in their hands led by Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, NSS PO. They raised nationalistic slogans like “Bharat Mata ki jai”, “Har Ghar Tiranga, Ghar Ghar Tiranga” etc during the rally. Volunteers were accompanied by Worthy Principal of the college and both teaching and non-teaching faculty of the college. The rally was aimed to commemorate Independence Day and to spread awareness amongst the students and locals regarding the feeling of patriotism and nationalism. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both students and staff. The program was organised under the able guidance of Principal GDC Sidhra, Dr. B.B Anand. The program was conducted successfully with the active support and coordination of Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, NSS PO, Prof. Deepa Kak, Dr.Satbir Kour, and Dr. Anu Sharma.
