GDC SIDHRA ORGANISES AN EXTENSION LECTURE ON 'CORRUPTION-WHEN SELF INTEREST COMES BEFORE THE GENERAL GOOD'

Department of Sociology in collaboration with Literary Committee of GDC Sidhra organized anExtension Lecture on the theme ‘Corruption: When Self Interest Comes Before The General Good. The resource person for today’s event was Mr. Kulbir Singh, JKPS, SSP CO IR 18 Bn., Jammu. Amongst the other guests present were. The entire proceedings of the programme were carried forward by Shonima Malhotra , HOD Sociology. Further the students of different semesters presented their views on the theme. The first prize was bagged by Ibrar Ahmed of Sem 3 and the second prize went to Saprina Naz of Sem 3. The Principal of the college Dr. B.B. Anand honoured the guest of honour by presenting him a memento. Mementos were also presented to the winners. The programme ended with a formal vote of thanks by Rudrika Khajuria, HOD English.
