GDC SIDHRA ORGANISES QUIZ COMPETITION ON "LIFE OF MAHATMA GANDHI JI".

In continuation of activities organised to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti, Literary Committee and Dept. Of Botany in collaboration with NSS unit of GDC Sidhra under the aegis of IQAC, organised a Quiz Competition on "Life of Mahatma Gandhi ji". A total of 6 students were shortlisted for participation in the event. There were three rounds in the competition. Students picked chits and answered the questions. There was a tie breaker round in which Rishab Singh of B.A Sem 3 was declared the winner. Students participated in the event with full zeal and enthusiasm. Such events help students to build confidence as they get opportunity to recall the facts promptly and more accurately. The students not only gained knowledge but also enjoyed answering the varied questions that were compiled for them. Event was organised by Dr. Meesha Bhagat, Convenor, Literary Committee and Dr. Anu Sharma, HoD Botany. Event was organised under the guidance of Principal of the College, Dr. B. B Anand.
