GDC Sidhra releases College Newsletter: DHANAK GDC Sidhra released the first issue of the third volume of College Newsletter “DHANAK”. The issue was released by Dr. S.P Saraswat, Nodal Principal, Jammu Division Colleges and Principal Government College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu. Speaking on the occasion Principal of the GDC Sidhra, Dr. B. B. Anand, expressed his immense joy and elation and congratulated the Newsletter Committee on the release of “DHANAK”. He further elaborated on how the College has progressed consistently since its inception and has made notable achievements in all the areas such as academic, non-academic and capacity building relevant to staff and students. The Newsletter offers a kaleidoscopic view of campus happenings through the period of August – November 2022. It reflects the student’s dispersion of curricular and co-curricular activities resulting in a spectrum of light, bringing glory to GDC Sidhra. These activities give an account of how the students have progressed from strength to strength and have left an indelible stamp on the college record even after facing many limitations. The compilation of this issue of newsletter was successful by the strenuous efforts of Prof. Deepa Kak, Convener and Editor Newsletter and Co-Editor, Dr. Anshu Gupta. The compilation of the Newsletter was successful with the active contribution and co-operation of Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, Prof. Shonima Malhotra, Dr. Satbir Kour, Prof. Pooja Sharma and Prof. Rudrika Khajuria, members of the Newsletter Committee.
