NSS Unit GDC Sidhra Organized Cleanliness Drive Under Swachtta Hi Sewa – Special Campaign 3.0

In continuation to the series of activities being organized under Swachhata Hi Sewa: Special Campaign 3.0 initiated by the Government of India for institutionalizing Swachhata and to promote the importance of cleanliness and sanitation in the country, the NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College Sidhra under the aegis of IQAC organised a cleanliness drive in the college premises and its surroundings on 16/10/2023.These drives are a wonderful experience for students to motivate them to contribute their bit to society and they are major role players to raise awareness on the importance of cleanliness. The aim of the campaign is to promote community participation, emphasize the importance of cleanliness and reinforce sanitation as a collective responsibility. NSS Volunteers from different semesters of the college participated in the cleanliness drive with full enthusiasm. The event was organized under the able guidance of Dr. B. B. Anand, Principal of the college. The program was conducted successfully with the active support and coordination of Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, NSS PO and other members of NSS Unit and Dr. Adil Rashid Malik, PTI of the college.
