NSS Unit GDC Sidhra Organizes Panch Pran Pledge

“Meri Maati Mera Desh" Campaign, with the tagline `Mitti ko naman, veeron ka vandan`, is a nationwide and people-led “Jan bhagidari” initiative inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Sh. Narendra Modi. "Meri Maati Mera Desh" envisions a unified celebration of India's soil and valour, commemorating the nation's journey of freedom and progress. The campaign includes the conduct of different programs and events at village, Panchayat, Block, Urban Local Body, State and National level. To commence the second phase of the Campaign (1st to 13th October 2023), NSS Volunteers, students, and staff of GDC Sidhra undertook the Panch Pran Pledge promising to abide by the five principles foregrounded to make India a developed country by the time it celebrates it’s 100th Independence day. By undertaking the solemn pledge, volunteers and students affirmed their commitment to the country. The program was conducted under the patronship of Dr B. B. Anand, Principal GDC Sidhra. The event was organized successfully with the active support and coordination of Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, PO NSS Unit, Prof Deepa Kak, Dr Anu Sharma, Dr Satbir Kour and Dr Rudrika Khajuria.
