One Day Orientation Workshop on SVEEP organized by GDC Sidhra With the goal of raising awareness among young minds regarding the importance of Voting, the Electoral Literacy Club of G.D.C Sidhra in collaboration with NSS organised One Day Workshop to educate voters about electoral process and spread awareness about elections.The activities organised in workshop included Quiz competition in which 4 teams participated with full zeal and zest. Team ‘A’ lead by Tayub Khan of B.A Sem II was declared as the winner for the same. The proceedings of the quiz were handled by Dr. Princy Sharma. Sequel to it a mass rally was also carried out wherein the campus ambassadors of the SVEEP and NSS Volunteers generated awareness among the locals of the area. The event was successfully organised by members of Electoral Literacy Club - Dr. Harpreet Kour & Dr. Rudrika Khajuria, NSS P.O – Dr. Mehmood Ahmed,with active contribution from Dr. Purvaiya Hans and Prof. Deepa Kak, Dr. Anu Sharma,Dr. Deepak Kumar, Dr. Ataullah Niazi, Lect. Ritika Dogra,Dr. Vimpal and Dr. Indu koul.The event was organised under the guidance of the worthy Principal of the College, Dr. B. B. Anand.
