Road Safety Month 2024

Road Safety Club is collaboration with NSS of Govt. Degree College Sidhra in view of observing “Road Safety Month 2024” conducted a special enforcement drive for helmet/head gear compliance by two wheeler riders. The activity was centered by the volunteers around the message on the need to always wear a helmet while riding a two wheeler. The volunteers enthusiastically were seen on Bain Bajalta road educating the riders to essentially wear helmets for preventing concussions and preventing them from brain damage or injuries from accident. The programme was organized under the able guidance of worth Principal Dr. B.B. Anand. An active role was played by Dr. Harpreet Kour, HOD Political Science, Dr. Mussarat Chowdhary, HOD Economics members of Road Safety Club as well as Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, PO NSS, Prof. Deepa Kak, HOD Education and Prof. Rudrika Khajuria, HOD English.
