The Traffic Rules

Road Safety Club of Govt. Degree College, Sidhra under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav and under the agies of IQAC organized a series of activities to mark the Road Safety Week. The programme was conducted under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. B.B. Anand. The activities include a lecture which was delivered by Dr. Mussarat Chowdhary, (HOD Economics) on the topic “Know The Traffic Rules” the purpose of which was to create awareness among the students. A rally was also organized among the general public in the locality to aware the masses on the Do’s and Don’ts of Road Safety sequel to the above mentioned activities students also participated in the Poster Making Competition on the theme “Road Safety Awareness”. Students from different semester participated enthusiastically in the competition and prepare thematic posters which were adjudged by Prof. Rudrika Khajuria ( AP in English) and Prof. Pooja Sharma (AP in Dogri). First position was bagged by Harmeet Singh and Nikhil of B.Com Sem-I, Second position was secured by Manik of B.Com Sem-I and Third position was shared by Akhil of B.Com Sem-I and Muskaan of B.A. Sem-I. The programme was conducted under the convenership of Dr. Harpreet Kour with the active support of Dr. Mussarat Chowdhary, Dr. Satbir Kour, Dr. Punam Rani and Dr. Mehmood Ahmed.
